i love you bjork...

even in a live performance, her voice is intact. hay...

"Hyper Ballad"
(Bjork)

we live on a mountain
right at the top
there's a beautiful view
from the top of the mountain
every morning i walk towards the edge
and throw little things off
like:
car-parts, bottles and cutlery
or whatever i find lying around

it's become a habit
a way
to start the day

i go through all this
before you wake up
so i can feel happier
to be safe up here with you

it's real early morning
no-one is awake
i'm back at my cliff
still throwing things off
i listen to the sounds they make
on their way down
i follow with my eyes 'til they crash
imagine what my body would sound like
slamming against those rocks

and when it lands
will my eyes
be closed or open?

i'll go through all this
before you wake up
so i can feel happier
to be safe up here with you

librarything!!!

"if you have never spent whole afternoons with burning ears and rumpled hair, forgetting the world around you over a book, forgetting cold and hunger --
if you have never read secretly under the bedclothes with a flashlight, because your father or mother or some other well meaning person has switched off the lamp on the plausible ground that it was time to sleep because you had to get up so early --
if you have never wept bitter tears because a wonderful story has come to an end and you must take your leave of the characters with whom you have shared so many adventures, whom you have loved and admired, for whom you have hoped and feared, and without whose company life seems empty and meaningless --
if such things have not been part of your own experience, you probably won't understand what bastian did next."
--The Neverending Story (Michael Ende)

i'm soooooooo psyched with this website that allows you to catalog your books online.

i heard it from my friend ian (big hugs!!)

its called librarything (www.librarything.com)

checkout my catalog at http://www.librarything.com/catalog/jrcarrabe

it's a work in progress -- i'm still working on cataloging my other books.
